About Us
Young British Entrepreneur was set up in 2009 to introduce British teenagers and young adults to entrepreneurial thinking; to encourage, enable and nurture life skills that are above and beyond those currently taught in our schools and Universities.
We believe that young people should be given the best start in life. Our courses aim to open young minds to the possibility of an entrepreneurial career as well as teaching crucial entrepreneurial skills to ensure progression within more traditional careers.
Our approach to teaching is non-traditional. The courses are a unique combination of dynamic and interactive teaching by successful entrepreneurs, giving young people the opportunity to pitch their new found business skills against each other.
Our courses focus heavily on mindsets and thinking frameworks. Essential skills are learnt along the way, though the main goals are more attuned to ensuring that our participants are able to confidently develop and hold ambition. Our participants leave feeling motivated to pursue every possible opportunity and obliged to be the very best they can be.
At the end of a Young British Entrepreneur course, the young people will have gained a valuable insight into life as an entrepreneur and the pitfalls and opportunities they may encounter.
